Debra Cote, Ph.D.
Debra Cote, Ph.D. is an associate professor in the Department of Special Education at CSUF Fullerton. Dr. Cote received her doctorate from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her research interests include autism, positive behavior supports, cognitive behavioral supports, evidence-based practices and teacher preparation. She is faculty advisor to the Student Council for Exceptional Children and Associate Director of the CSUF Center for Autism, Education Core. Dr. Cote is Far West Region Member for the national Division on Autism and Developmental Disabilities. She serves as past president to the Greater Orange County (OC) Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) Chapter 188 and OC Chapter 188 Representative to the CA CEC Executive Committee. Dr. Cote serves on the Grandparents Autism Network Board of Directors.
